Dropbear is a relatively small SSH 2 server and client. Dropbear is particularly useful for "embedded"-type Linux (or other Unix) systems, such as wireless routers.

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a widely used protocol for monitoring the health and welfare of network equipment (eg. routers), computer equipment and even devices like UPSs. Net-SNMP is a suite of applications used to implement SNMP v1, SNMP v2c and SNMP v3 using both IPv4 and IPv6. It is included with every ReadyNAS but only enabled on the "Business" line of products. This add-on allows you to turn it on on the other products as well. On Sparc based ReadyNAS systems this means the DUO ;-)...
